I say we treat this project exactly as it is. We are an independent game developer. We have no money. We have no equipment. We are using whatever free stuff we can get our hands on. We are not making any sort of profit now and we have no guarantees that we have profit in our future. Yes, we want to be successful. Yes, we would all love for this to produce an income. Yes, it would be great if the whole thing takes off and we can say goodbye to our day/night jobs and do what we love for a living. This is a massive undertaking that spans the course of a year. We will be squeezing whatever free time we can into our game. There will be sweat and tears, but in the end, we will have an experience to look back on that holds immense value. And after we've sweat and cried, why not put this thing where others can play it for a small fee? Why not show it to the world at IGF and raise the eyebrows of publishers? Why not?
I say, why not?
